Since
1971 the volunteer fire-brigade Kirchohsen is based in the grounds of
the FTZ. Agreements between the District of Emmerthal and the County of
Hameln Pyrmont ensure that the vehicles
of the
fire-brigade Kirchohsen
are accommodated in the garage complex of the FTZ and that the special
vehicles of the county are manned by the comrades of the fire-brigade
Kirchohsen.
For this reason the fire-brigade Kirchohsen does not possess its own
fire station. The building, which became “inhabited” by the fire-brigade
Kirchohsen, is described on this page.
